Accessibility

Tickets for accessible seats are available at www.PeabodyAuditorium.org, www.DaytonaBandshell.com, AXS.com, and at the venue box offices on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Patrons may purchase up to three (3) companion seats in addition to their accessible seat. The Peabody Auditorium and Oceanfront Bandshell will provide full wheelchair accessible seating in spaces or locations designated as such and no permanent fixed chair will be provided for these locations.

The Peabody Auditorium balcony is accessible via the elevator located at the east end of the lobby.

Assisted Hearing Devices are available for loan at the Peabody Box Office for patrons attending Peabody Auditorium events. Upon arrival, please visit the box office or see an usher to acquire one. To borrow the device, a valid driver's license or credit card is required as collateral and will be held until the device is returned at the end of the performance.

By request, the Peabody Auditorium and Oceanfront Bandshell will provide sign language interpretation services, subject to availability. Requests for ASL interpreters must be placed well in advance of the performance (an absolute minimum of 30 days notice is needed). ADA accessible parking is available in the same designated areas for both the Peabody Auditorium and the Daytona Beach Bandshell. These spaces are located near the Ocean Center Parking Garage and surrounding lots, providing convenient access to both venues. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as accessible parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Peabody Auditorium – All entrances to the Peabody Auditorium are ADA accessible. Guests may enter through the main lobby near the box office or via the patio entrance, where an ADA ramp is located inside the Rose Room for entry into the lobby.
• Oceanfront Bandshell – Guests parking in the Ocean Center garage can access the Bandshell by taking the skywalk over A1A and using the elevator located on the second level of the Ocean Walk Shoppes. For added convenience, drop-off is also available at the front entrance of the Ocean Walk Shoppes for easy access to the venue.

Both venues have accessible restrooms.

• Peabody Auditorium - Located in the main lobby and on the second balcony. Changing tables are available in restrooms on both levels. A designated nursing space can be made available upon request. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available.
• Oceanfront Bandshell - Located inside the Ocean Walk Shoppes on the first and second floor. The restrooms in the Ocean Walk Shoppes accommodate guests with disabilities and their companion and serve families with small children who may need assistance. Accessible Portable Restrooms are also available during events.

Service dogs are welcome inside both the Peabody Auditorium and Oceanfront Bandshell. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as any dog that is individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

Each service animal must remain with its owner and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist. Under ADA service dog rules, items such as vests or identification are not required, however this can be a useful tool to signal to the public that your dog is a service dog and therefore is recommended.

Guests bringing in certified service animals may not take up an additional seat unless a ticket has been purchased specifically for the seat.

The City of Daytona Beach provides a trained Fire/EMS response team on-site as required for selected ticketed events deemed necessary by the City and the event promoter. An Automated External Defibrillators (AED) is available on-site.
