Seating

What Does Obstructed View Mean?

If certain seats are labeled as obstructed during the selection process, it’s because stage setups and production elements can vary by show. In many cases, we don’t know the exact placement or size of equipment, such as speakers, until closer to the event. To ensure transparency, we mark these seats as potentially obstructed due to the possibility of limited sight lines that may not be confirmed until the day of the performance.

What Does General Admission Mean?

General Admission means that seating or standing areas are not assigned and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Late Seating Policy

For Peabody Auditorium events, latecomers will be seated but may be asked to wait in the lobby until the ushers/venue staff deem it’s an appropriate time to enter the theater. For symphonies, Broadway touring shows, and other types of events, seating is permitted only between numbers or pieces.
